Wolfgang Dimetrik (born 6 January 1974) is an Austrian accordionist. At the age of six he received his first accordion lessons. Five years later he became a pupil of Prof at the Johann-Joseph-Fux Conservatory in Graz. Having completed his accordion studies at the Graz School of Music (since 1992) as a disciple of the visiting professors Mogens Ellegaard, James Crabb, and , he received a grant to continue his studies in the class of Prof Stefan Hussong at the Hermann-Zilcher-Conservatory in Würzburg, where he finished his studies with commendation in 2001 before entering the master class of the Würzburg School of Music. 2003 master-class-examination.

Er ist Preisträger verschiedener Wettbewerbe (VAMÖ-Wettbewerb Wien, Deutscher Konservatoriumswettbewerb Nürnberg). Meisterkurse bei Geir Draugsvoll, Holland; Mie Miki-Schenk, Deutschland; , Kanada. Neben Solokonzerten tritt Wolfgang Dimetrik auch als Kammermusiker auf, beispielsweise mit der musikFabrik Nordrhein-Westfalen, dem Hannover, dem ensemble recherche, dem Ensemble Modern oder dem Ensemble SurPlus.
* Mitwirkung an der Oper Frankfurt in Die Wände von Adriana Hölszky, unter der Leitung von Bernhard Kontarsky.
* 2001: Uraufführung von Arnold Schönbergs Die glückliche Hand mit dem Berlin, Leitung Peter Hirsch.
* 2003: Uraufführung des Stücks Lied für Orchester von Jörg Widmann mit den Bamberger Symphonikern unter Jonathan Nott.
* 2004: Uraufführung von Isabel Mundrys Gefaltete Zeit mit dem ensemble recherche und dem Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks unter Peter Rundel.
* 2007: Uraufführung von Sonata 332, Blumenstück.
