You are Christ is a prayer to Jesus attributed to Augustine of Hippo, in the 4th or 5th century. The title of the prayer is reminiscent of the statement of Saint Peter to Jesus: "You are the Christ" (Matthew 16:16; Mark 8:29). The prayer has three parts. The first part is a list of titles and salutations to Jesus. The second part involves a set of conversational questions. The third part is a list of petitions to Jesus.
