Zeng Xisheng (Chinese: 曾希聖) (October 11, 1904 – July 15, 1968) was a Chinese politician. He was born in Xingning, Hunan Province (now Zixing, Hunan Province). He was the first Chinese Communist Party Committee Secretary of Anhui Province and also its 1st governor after the founding of the People's Republic of China. He was the 5th Communist Party Secretary of Shandong Province.

| - Ceng Si-šeng (čínsky 曾希圣, pinyin Zēng Xīshèng) v roce 1922 vstoupil do Komunistického svazu mládeže (Communist Youth League of China). V roce 1924 vstoupil do vojenské akademie Whampoa a v roce 1926 se zúčastnil Severního pochodu. Byl dobrý v dešifrování nepřátelských zpráv a brzy si získal přízeň Mao Ce-tunga. Od roku 1952 zastával pozici tajemníka Komunistické strany Číny v provincii An-chuej. Během Velkého skoku vpřed v roce 1958 podporoval velmi levicovou ideologii. V té době Ceng představil Maovi vysoké pece na výrobu oceli. Do roku 1961 bylo kolem 10 milionů lidí v provincii An-chuej na pokraji smrti hladem a několik milionů jich následně zemřelo. V roce 1962 podporoval systém tzv. odpovědnosti domácností (包产到户 bāochǎn dàohù), jehož cílem bylo zvýšit produktivitu práce během Velkého skoku. Systém měl domácnostem stanovit kvótu zemědělské produkce, kterou bylo nutné odvést státu. Tento systém podpořil i Teng Siao-pching. Během Kulturní revoluce byl tento systém označen za pravicově oportunistický. Systém byl zrevidován po Maově smrti Teng Siao-pchingem. Na Konferenci 7000 osob byl Ceng kritizován za své názory a zbaven svých funkcí. (cs)

Zeng was a proponent of the Great Leap Forward, but as Anhui became one of the first provinces to sink into famine, Zeng in 1961 allowed for farmers to rent land for private use, like growing crops. The land was recollectivized in the following years. In 1962 he was critized during Seven Thousand Cadres Conference and replaced by Li Baohua and transferred out of Anhui to take on the office of Second Secretary of the Southeast Bureau. He died in 1968 during the Cultural Revolution, as his prior actions had been considered anti-revolutionary. (en)
