Del Valle (/ˌdɛl ˈvæli/ del VAL-ee) is an airport-defined edge city of Austin and part of the Austin–Round Rock–San Marcos Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is founded upon the 19th-century Santiago Del Valle leagues, the largest granted land parcel in Travis County. The 2010 census estimated a population of 17,139. Del Valle is located 7 miles (11 km) southeast of Downtown Austin. It is located at (30.21, -97.65) with an elevation of 482 feet.
