Derhachi (Ukrainian: Дергачі́, pronounced [derɦɐˈtʃi]; Russian: Дeргaчи, romanized: Dergachi) is a city in Kharkiv Raion, Kharkiv Oblast (province) of eastern Ukraine. The city is located 12 km (7 mi) northwest of the oblast capital, Kharkiv. The settlement was founded in the second half of the 17th century as a sloboda. It hosts the administration of Derhachi urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: 17,433.
