Doris Loveday Carver (born 1946) is an American computer scientist and software engineer at Louisiana State University, where she is Dow Chemical Distinguished Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, and director of the Software Engineering Laboratory. She is the former president of the IEEE Computer Society and editor-in-chief of IEEE Computer.
