"Elegia" is an instrumental musical piece composed by Peter Hook, Gillian Gilbert, Stephen Morris and Bernard Sumner for the British rock band New Order. It is an instrumental in A minor with a time signature of 12/8 and uses samples from E-mu Emulator II. It was recorded at CTS Studios, Wembley in a single, 24 hour session. It can be found on their third studio album, Low-Life (1985). Elegia is Greek for elegy.
