The Elijah Herndon House is located in California, Kentucky and built in the Federal style in 1818. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It is a single-story brick building with a one-story ell, with the front facade's brick laid in Flemish bond and side walls done in common bond. The main block is 20 by 40 feet (6.1 m × 12.2 m) and the ell is 17 by 15 feet (5.2 m × 4.6 m).
