The Forgery Act 1837 (7 Will 4 & 1 Vict c 84) was an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It was one of the (chapters 84 to 91) passed during the session 7 Will 4 & 1 Vict. The whole Act was repealed in the United Kingdom by section 36(1) of, and Part I of the Second Schedule to, the . This Act was retained for the Republic of Ireland by section 2 of, and Part 4 of Schedule 1 to, the Statute Law Revision Act 2007. It is still in force in that country. This Act was adopted in New South Wales by section 1 of the Act 9 Victoria No 3.
