Gen Shōji (昌子 源, Shōji Gen, born 11 December 1992) is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Gamba Osaka in the Japanese J1 League. A strong and physical centre–back defender, Shoji is capable of covering and positioning using speed as well as his considerable strength and intensity in one on one.
