Heartstopper is a young adult LGBTQIA+ ongoing graphic novel and webcomic series written and illustrated by British author Alice Oseman. It is the subject of the 2022 Netflix television series of the same name, directed by Euros Lyn and written by Alice Oseman. The novel follows the lives of Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring. These characters originally appeared in Solitaire, a novel also written by Oseman. The graphic novel and its 2022 television series adaptation have been critically acclaimed, with the latter being renewed for a second and third season shortly after its release.
