James Field Spallone is an American politician and a member of the Democratic Party. First elected as state representative for Connecticut's 36th District in 2000, he won re-election in 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008. Spallone is the House Co-Chair of the Government Administration and Elections committee, and also sits on the Environment and Judiciary committees. He was previously an assistant majority leader and vice-chairman of the Judiciary Committee. He has been appointed co-chairman of the Municipal Ethics Task Force and the Commission on Enhancing Agency Outcomes.
