It was released in Japan in 2014 for Android and iOS devices. An anime television series adaptation by Encourage Films titled Merc Storia: Mukiryoku no Shōnen to Bin no Naka no Shōjo (メルクストーリア-無気力少年と瓶の中の少女-, Merc Storia: The Apathetic Boy and the Girl in a Bottle) aired from October 11 to December 27, 2018.
