The Oregon chub (Oregonichthys crameri) is a species of ray-finned fish in the family Cyprinidae.It is endemic to Oregon in the United States. From 1993 to 2015 it was a federally listed threatened species. In early 2014, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service said that the small, silver-speckled minnow would become the first fish to be taken off the endangered species list when its numbers returned from fewer than 1,000 individuals to an estimated 160,000. It was delisted on February 17, 2015 with populations of more than 140,000 in 80 different locations.
