Prajnanam Brahma (Sanskrit: प्रज्ञानम् ब्रह्म) is a Mahāvākya, which is found in Aitareya Upanishad of Rigveda. Other Mahāvākyas are "Aham Brahman Asmi", "Tat Tvam Asi" and "Ayam Atma Brahma". The Chaitanya of Paramatman is "Prajnanam Brahma". Everything is produced by Chaitanya (consciousness), and everything is another name for Chaitanya. The world is governed by Chaitanya. Chaitanya is the cause, Chaitanya is the Brahman.
