Sport-Club Union 06 Berlin e.V. is a German association football club based in central Berlin. Like namesake 1. FC Union Berlin, the club traces its origin back to the FC Olympia Oberschöneweide, formed in 1906, but the current SC Union was formed in June 1950. It had its greatest success in the early 1950s when it won the tier one Oberliga Berlin in 1953, having finished runners-up in the previous two seasons. The 1952–53 league championship entitled the club to participate in the 1953 German football championship, where it was knocked-out in the group stage.
