The Shire of Hindmarsh is a local government area in Victoria, Australia, located in the western part of the state. It covers an area of 7,527 square kilometres (2,906 sq mi) and in June 2018 had a population of 5,645, having fallen from 5,852 in June 2013. It includes the towns of Dimboola, Nhill, Rainbow and Jeparit. It was formed in 1995 from the amalgamation of the Shire of Lowan and Shire of Dimboola.
