Steven Joseph Chabot (/ˈʃæbət/ SHAB-ət; born January 22, 1953) is an American politician and lawyer who has been the United States representative for Ohio's 1st congressional district since 2011. A member of the Republican Party, he previously represented the district from 1995 to 2009. In 2022, Chabot lost his reelection campaign to Democratic nominee Greg Landsman.
