Tenindewa is a small town located between Geraldton and Mullewa along the Geraldton – Mount Magnet Road in the Mid West region of Western Australia. At the 2006 census, the Tenindewa district had a population of 143. In 1932 the Wheat Pool of Western Australia announced that the town would have two grain elevators, each fitted with an engine, installed at the railway siding. Tenindewa also had a CBH grain receival point from 1936 until 1974. The "beam" from the old weighbridge is located outside the historic store as a reminder of that time.
