The Villainess (Korean: 악녀, romanized: Ak Nyeo) is a 2017 South Korean action thriller film directed by Jung Byung-gil, starring Kim Ok-vin. The film had its world premiere at the 70th Cannes Film Festival in May 2017. According to the director and writer, the movie was inspired by the European film La Femme Nikita (1990), which he had seen at the age of 10.
