Torrey Pines High School is a member of the San Dieguito Union High School District and serves the communities of Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, Fairbanks Ranch, Solana Beach, and Carmel Valley in San Diego County. Students from Encinitas may attend as well. Torrey Pines is one of five high schools in its district, the others being San Dieguito Academy, La Costa Canyon High School, and Canyon Crest Academy.
