The 3-3-4 Scheme is the academic structure for senior secondary education and higher education in Hong Kong, referring to the structure of three years of junior secondary school, three years of senior secondary school, and four years of university education. The programme replaced the British 3-2-2-3 system (three years of junior secondary school, two years of senior secondary school, two years of matriculation course and three years of university education). This scheme began in the 2009 school year. By 2012, HKDSE had replaced HKCEE (O Level) and HKALE (A Level). 334 학제는 중학교 3년, 고등학교 3년, 대학교 4년을 의미하며 홍콩 등 많은 나라에서 실시되고 있는 교육 제도이다. 三三四學制是指香港三年初中、三年高中及四年大學的教育制度，為全球多數國家所採用。與此相對的是「三二二三學制」，主要由英國、英聯邦國家、英國前殖民地採用。 三三四学制（さんさんしがくせい、さんさんよんがくせい）は、三年中学、三年高校、四年大学ということ。それは日本及び世界中多くの国で行われている制度である。
