苦鹹水沼澤（英文：Brackish marshes），又稱汽水沼澤，是以半鹹水為主體的沼澤，發展自被大量淡水注入導致水體鹽度被稀釋的鹽沼，多半位於河口灣鹽沼更偏河川上游的位置，且有大量淡水注入並具有較低的潮差。 Brackish marshes develop from salt marshes where a significant freshwater influx dilutes the seawater to brackish levels of salinity. This commonly happens upstream from salt marshes by estuaries of coastal rivers or near the mouths of coastal rivers with heavy freshwater discharges in the conditions of low tidal ranges. Les marais saumâtres se développent dans des schorres où un afflux important d'eau douce dilue l'eau de mer pour atteindre des niveaux de salinité saumâtre. Cela se produit généralement en amont des marais, salés par les estuaires des rivières côtières, ou près de l'embouchure des rivières côtières avec de lourds déversements d'eau douce dans les conditions de marée basse. Eine Brackmarsch ist die Bezeichnung für eine Marsch, deren Sedimente in der Brackwasserzone gebildet wurden. Sie ist häufig arm an Carbonaten, da in der Brackzone wenig Muscheln vorkommen und damit auch wenig Muschelkalk zurückgeblieben ist. Die Brackmarsch ist kein eigenständiger Bodentyp mehr, sondern wird den anderen Marschböden zugeschlagen; häufig der Kleimarsch. Flächen finden sich meist direkt am Geestrand oder in der Nähe von Flussmündungen.
