The full-rigged ship was wrecked on the Honois Rocks, west of Guernsey, Channel Islands with the loss of six of the 23 people on board, including two survivors of Aire . Bostonian was on a voyage from New York to London. The brig was driven ashore at Dover. She was on a voyage from London to Saint Helena. She was refloated and taken in to The Downs. The ship was wrecked at Durban, Cape Colony. The schooner sprang a leak and was beached south of Warkworth, Northumberland. Her crew were rescued.
