El sistema de qualificació de la MPAA és una de les diferents formes de classificació per edats que s'utilitzen per ajudar els pares a decidir quines pel·lícules són apropiades per als seus fills. Està administrat per la Classification & Ratings Adiministration (Administració de Qualificacions i Índexs en anglès, CARA), una divisió independent de la MPAA.
