Twenty-six T-68s were manufactured by Breda and Firema at their factories in Naples, Italy. Six modified variants (known as the Breda T-68A) were produced in 1999 by the later AnsaldoBreda (after Ansaldo and Breda merged with Finmeccanica, now the Leonardo group).
