"John Joe \"Goggles\" Doyle (14 June 1906 \u2013 11 August 2000) was an Irish hurler who played as a left corner-back for the Clare senior team. Doyle made his first appearance for the team during the 1926 championship and was a regular member of the starting fifteen until his retirement after the 1938 championship. During that time he won one Munster medal. Doyle was an All-Ireland runner-up on one occasion.
