Around 20 units imported in the early 1990s. \uB0B4\uC5F0569 is operational in the Namp'o area. \n* \u0422\u042D\u041C2 - Diesel-electric. Further development of the \u0422\u042D\u041C1. Number imported is not known, but at least two \u2013 \uB0B4\uC5F0587 is operational in the P'y\u014Fngyang area in a livery like the \u0422\u042D\u041C1s, and another has been seen painted in the North Korean standard light blue over dark green colours. \n* \u0422\u0413\u041C3\u0411 - Diesel-hydraulic. Eleven imported new from the USSR in 1972\u201373. Very similar to the SM15-class of the Polish State Railways. At least one converted to electric operation via pantograph. \n* \u0422\u0413\u041C4 - Diesel-hydraulic. Two imported new in 1985. \n* \u0422\u0413\u041C4\u0411\u041B - Diesel-hydraulic. Some second hand broad gauge (1,520 mm (4 ft 11+27\u204432 in) Russian gauge) units are operation around Rajin since the conversion of the Hong\u016Di Line from Tumangang on the DPRK-Russia border to Hong\u016Di, and of a section of the Hambuk Line from Hong\u016Di to Rajin to dual (standard and broad) gauge, completed in 2013."@en . . .
