More novellas followed, including the melancholy-driven Tsvetok (Flower), Nedoumenye (Bewilderment), Zhivaya kartina (Live Picture), Posledniy vizit (Final Visit), Oshibka (Mistake), Sboyev, Bez rassveta (Without Sunrise), again lauded for their insight and psychological depth.
