Tal com la planteja Sch\u00F6n, la pr\u00E0ctica reflexiva implica la posada en q\u00FCesti\u00F3 sistem\u00E0tica de les experi\u00E8ncies de cadasc\u00FA amb el suport d'un grup de professionals en la mateixa disciplina. En paraules de Richards & Lockhart (1998): \"L'experi\u00E8ncia \u00E9s el punt de partida per al desenvolupament professional, per\u00F2, per aconseguir que jugui un paper productiu, cal examinar-la sistem\u00E0ticament\". La Pr\u00E0ctica Reflexiva \u00E9s una metodologia de formaci\u00F3 on els elements de partida s\u00F3n les experi\u00E8ncies de cada docent en el seu context i la reflexi\u00F3 sobre la seva pr\u00E0ctica. Es tracta, doncs, d'una opci\u00F3 formativa que parteix de la persona i no del saber te\u00F2ric, que t\u00E9 en compte l'experi\u00E8ncia professional per a l'actualitzaci\u00F3 i la millora o professionalitzaci\u00F3 de la tasca docent. Un dels referent te\u00F2ric de la Pr\u00E0ctica Reflexiva \u00E9s Phillipe Perrenoud de la universitat de Ginebra i autor del llibre La Pr\u00E0ctica Reflexiva en el oficio de ense\u00F1ar (2004) publicat per Gar\u00F3, Barcelona. A Catalunya, va desenvolupar aquest model d'aprenentatge per assentar les bases de la formaci\u00F3 del professorat per tal d'afavorir un proc\u00E9s de formaci\u00F3 que va contribuir a la producci\u00F3 d'un aut\u00E8ntic canvi qualitatiu en equips docents de centres d'ensenyament de la xarxa p\u00FAblica d'escoles de Catalunya.
