Pre-construction on the project began in December 2012. The contract for heavy construction on the project was signed on July 9, 2014, and its official groundbreaking was held on September 30, 2014. Originally scheduled to open in 2020 but delayed due to construction difficulties, the project is 90% completed as of April 2022 with train testing commencing and revenue service expected to start in early 2023."@en . . . . .
