- Six Nations 2009 war die zehnte Ausgabe des jährlichen Rugby-Union-Turniers Six Nations. An fünf Wochenenden vom 7. Februar bis zum 21. März 2009 fanden 15 Spiele statt. Turniersieger wurde Irland, das mit Siegen gegen alle anderen Teilnehmer zum zweiten Mal nach 1948 den Grand Slam erreichte, mit Siegen gegen alle britischen Mannschaften auch die Triple Crown. Da das Stadion Lansdowne Road in Dublin wegen Umbauarbeiten nicht zur Verfügung stand, wurden die Spiele der Iren wie schon 2007 und 2008 im Croke Park ausgetragen. (de)

- Le Tournoi des Six Nations 2009 se déroule du 7 février au 21 mars 2009. Six équipes ont tenté de succéder au pays de Galles, vainqueur du Grand Chelem en 2008. La compétition se déroule comme chaque année avec cinq journées disputées en février et mars. Les journées s'étendent sur sept semaines, avec des pauses avant et après la troisième journée. Chacune des six nations participantes affronte toutes les autres. Les trois équipes qui ont en 2009 l'avantage de jouer un match de plus à domicile que les autres sont l'Angleterre, l'Écosse, et l'Italie. Le tournoi est remporté par l'Irlande, c'est leur première victoire depuis 1985. Les Irlandais obtiennent dans le même temps une triple couronne et un Grand Chelem, leur second après celui remporté en 1948. (fr)

- The 2009 Six Nations Championship, known as the RBS 6 Nations for sponsorship reasons, was the 10th Six Nations Championship, and the 115th international championship, an annual rugby union competition contested by the six major European national teams: England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. The tournament was held between 7 February and 21 March 2009. Ireland won the Grand Slam and Triple Crown, only their second Grand Slam, and first since 1948, and first Triple Crown since 2007. - Het Zeslandentoernooi voor mannen van de Rugby Union in 2009 werd gespeeld tussen 7 februari en 21 maart. Titelverdediger was Wales. Ierland speelde in Croke Park en niet op Lansdowne Road, waar men normaliter speelt. Dit in verband met de verbouwingen aan Lansdowne Road. Ierland veroverde de titel door in de laatste wedstrijd met 17-15 te winnen van Wales. De vorige keer dat Ierland het toernooi won was in 1985, toen er nog vijf landen meespeelden. Het was 61 jaar geleden dat Ierland een grand slam binnenhaalde, in 1948 won het Ierse rugbyteam voor het laatst van alle tegenstanders. (nl)

Turniej odbywał się pomiędzy 7 lutego a 21 marca 2009 roku. Wliczając turnieje w poprzedniej formie, od czasów Home Nations Championship i Pucharu Pięciu Narodów, była to 115. edycja tych zawodów. W turnieju brały udział reprezentacje narodowe Anglii, Francji, Irlandii, Szkocji, Walii i Włoch. (pl)
