The Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (also known as the General Electric Exhibition Centre and often shortened to the AECC) was a large exhibition and conference complex, in the suburb of Bridge of Don, in Aberdeen, Scotland. The complex is home to a Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotel, conference facilities and multi-purpose arena which hosted concerts and local sporting events, including the Aberdeen Cup tennis event.

  • Das Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) war ein Veranstaltungszentrum im schottischen Aberdeen. Das Zentrum wurde 1985 eröffnet. Das Herzstück der Anlage bildete die Arena, eine Mehrzweckhalle für 8500 Personen (unbestuhlt) oder 4750 Personen (bestuhlt). Hier fanden Konzerte, Comedy- oder Sportveranstaltungen statt. Es gab noch ein Auditorium mit 450 Sitzplätzen. Für Tagungen oder Festlichkeiten standen weitere kleinere Säle zur Verfügung. Das Zentrum wurde im März 2020 abgerissen. Im Vorort Bucksburn ging die neue und größere Halle P&J Live in Betrieb. (de)

Pełni funkcję hotelu zrzeszonego w grupie Holiday Inn oraz centrum konferencyjnego z halą mogącą pomieścić ponad 4700 osób. W ostatnich latach AECC został w całości gruntownie przebudowany. Podczas prac budowlanych została wzniesiona wieża widokowa, będąca obecnie jedną z najwyższych struktur budowlanych w Aberdeen. Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre rocznie organizuje ponad 600 imprez i przyjmuje około 300 000 odwiedzających. (pl)
