The Cape class is a ship class of 20 large patrol boats operated by the Marine Unit of the Australian Border Force, the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) and the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard. Ordered in 2011, the vessels were built by Austal to replace Customs' Bay-class patrol boats, and entered service from 2013 onwards. • Třída Cape je třída australských hlídkových lodí provozovaných australskou celní a pohraniční stráží (Australian Customs and Border Protection Service – ACBPS). Celkem bylo objednáno 18 jednotek této třídy. Ve službě jsou od roku 2013. Nahradily zastarávající plavidla třídy Bay. Mezi jejich hlavní úkoly patří hlídkování, ochrana rybolovu, obrana výhradní ekonomické zóny a potlačování ilegální imigrace. Dvě jednotky byly zapůjčeny australskému námořnictvu, částečně jako náhrada za ztracenou hlídkovou loď HMAS Bundaberg. Zahraničním uživatelem třídy bude pobřežní stráž státu Trinidad a Tobago, která objednala dvě jednotky. (cs)
