Galestar antikuario eta liburuzalea ospetsua den Bob Owen herrixka honetako biztanlea da. Herri honetatik oso hurbil parke bat dago, hau antzina Anwyl familiaren jabegoa zen, hauek dioetenez gizonezkoen aldetik zuzen-zuzenean Gwyneddko printzea zen Owain Gwynedd zenaren ondorengoak omen dira.
