| - Drakobijce (skloňování jako soudce, nesprávně drakobijec) je označení lidí, kteří z různých důvodů zabíjí draky. Tento hrdina se vyskytuje v mýtech, legendách a pohádkách po celém světě od dávných dob, což dosvědčuje i Aarne–Thompsonův katalog, který drakobijce uvádí jako typ 300. Drakobijce se však objevuje i jako námět moderních knih, filmů, komiksů či počítačových her. Námětem příběhu o zabití draka často bývá i boj s obecně zápornými silami. (cs)

Dragonslayer) — мифологическо-фольклорный образ человека или, реже, другого существа, который, согласно легендам, занимается преследованием и уничтожением драконов. Драконоборцы, как и собственно драконы, были очень популярными персонажами в фольклоре народов всего мира: они относятся к классу сказочных сюжетов, классифицируемых как №300 в системе классификации Аарне-Томпсона. Они продолжают оставаться популярными также и в современной литературе, кинофильмах и видеоиграх. Se encuentran matadragones en los cuentos de hadas, en los mitos, leyendas e historias ancestrales de muchas culturas, así como en géneros más modernos como los libros de caballerías o la fantasía; e incluso en juegos de rol o videojuegos.
