The Franciscan Friars of the Renewal (Latin: Fratres Franciscani a Renovatione; Abbreviation: CFR) is a Catholic clerical religious congregation of Pontifical Right for men founded in 1987. It follows the Capuchin Franciscan tradition. Originally formed as a mendicant congregation in the Archdiocese of New York, it has been recognized under pontifical right since 2016. A parallel community known as the was established in 1988.

Heute bereits international vertreten, gibt es auch einen Schwesternzweig, die Franziskanerinnen der Erneuerung. Die wichtigsten Niederlassungen befinden sich in New York in der Bronx sowie in London, wo sie u. a. in der Obdachlosenseelsorge tätig sind sowie die dortigen Gruppen der Jugend 2000 betreuen. Sie engagieren sich auch für Drogenabhängi (de) Franciszkanie Odnowy, Wspólnota Franciszkańskich Braci Odnowy (ang. Community of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal) – zgromadzenie żebracze z rodziny franciszkańskiej. Zostało założone jako klerycki instytut zakonny na prawie diecezjalnym, podległy jurysdykcji arcybiskupa Nowego Jorku. W 2016 roku został zatwierdzony jako instytut życia konsekrowanego na prawie papieskim. (pl)
