- Gears (vorher Google Gears) ist eine inzwischen nicht mehr weiterentwickelte Software des Unternehmens Google. Gears erweiterte unterstützte Webbrowser um einige Features, die von den Browsern zum damaligen Zeitpunkt nicht oder nicht in konsistenter Form angeboten wurden.
