Georgina Fraser Newhall (née , Fraser; 2 September 1860 – 11 November 1932) was a Canadian author of poetry and short stories, and a teacher. She was the country's first female stenographer. She distinguished herself through her poetic and prose writings. She served as the bardess of the Clan Fraser Society of Canada, and her "Fraser's Drinking Song", set to a stirring martial tune, was adopted as the society's "Faille" (welcome). Newhall wrote numerous articles for leading literary periodicals. She frequently produced short stories, a line of writing in which she has had probably more success, and was more prolific than most Canadian writers of the time.
