(in) 日台関係史（にったいかんけいし）は、日本と台湾の関係の歴史。 (ja) 台灣與日本關係史（台日關係史）是指台灣歷代與日本歷代在歷史上不同階段的關係。根據信史記載，雙方自16世紀即有相互來往，并建構了各式各样的关系。台日關係粗略可分为几个阶段：1895年前台湾与日本的关系、1895至1945年臺灣做為日本屬地（外地）與日本内地之间的关系、1945年後中華民國统治下的關係。 (zh) 일본-타이완 관계는 타이완(현재 중화민국)과 일본의 관계를 말한다. 일본 제국은 청일 전쟁의 대가로 청나라에게서 타이완을 할양받게 되어, 1945년까지 통치하였는데, 그 기간을 대만일치시기(일본의 통치 시대)라고 칭하며, 그 기간이 일제 강점기 조선보다 길었고 타이완 주민들에게 국가적인 정체성이 적었기 때문에 보다 더 안정적인 통치가 가능했다. 1945년에 일본이 연합국에 무조건 항복함에 따라 중화민국의 영토가 되었는데, 당시 중국 국민당 정부가 반체제 세력을 대대적으로 숙청한 덕에, 상대적으로 일본의 지배 시기를 더 긍정적으로 여기게 되었다. 일본의 통치 시대에 일본의 정치나 문화적인 억압은 반발이 심하였던 일제 강점기 조선에 비해서 주민들이 순응한 편이라 많이 부드러웠고, 그 탄압은 해방 이후에 바뀐 주인의 탄압이 더 부정적으로 받아들여져서 상대적으로 친일 정서가 강해졌다. 이런 경향에 따라 서울대학교가 경성제국대학을 전신으로 인정하지 않는 것과는 달리, 국립 타이완 대학은 일본에 의해 세워진 타이베이 제국대학을 전신으로 인정하는 등의 차이를 보인다. 2007년 여름에는 리덩후이 전 총통이 야스쿠니 신사를 참배하는 등 본성인들의 친일 정서를 엿볼 수 있다.
