King James Version is the second studio album by American rock band Harvey Danger, released on September 12, 2000 through London-Sire Records. Following the success of the band's debut album Where Have All The Merrymakers Gone? and its smash hit single "Flagpole Sitta", Harvey Danger returned home from touring in December 1998 and commenced work on what was to become their major label debut album. King James Version was first recorded between March and April 1999 with producer John Goodmanson at Bearsville Sound Studio in Woodstock, New York, with additional recording taking place at Bear Creek Studio in Woodinville, Washington and at John & Stu's Place in Seattle, Washington.
