In Greek mythology, King Mygdon (Ancient Greek: Μύγδων) of the Bebryces, people who lived in Bithynia, in northern Asia Minor. He was the son of Poseidon and the Bithynian nymph Melia and thus brother of Amycus, also a Bebrycian king.

Fue muerto por Heracles en el camino hacia el Ponto para completar su noveno trabajo, donde fue a buscar el cinturón de Hipólita, la reina de la Amazonas. Después de que Heracles matase a Migdón, entregó sus antiguas tierras a Lico, que cambió el nombre del lugar a Heraclea en honor a este. Tenía un hermano llamado Ámico, también un rey bébrice. Heracles tuvo un hijo llamado con Astidamía, la hija de Migdón, después de haber matado a su padre. Otras versiones indican que Migdón era hijo de Ares con la musa Calíope. (es)

Aufgabe – die Beschaffung des Gürtels der Amazonenkönigin Hippolyte – gegen die Amazonen zog, gewährte Lykos dem Helden Gastfreundschaft. Im Verlauf des Kampfes gegen die Amazonen kämpfte Herakles auch gegen die Bebryker als Feinde seines Freundes Lykos und erschlug Mygdon. Einen Großteil des Landes, über das Mygdon geherrscht hatte, schenkte er dem Lykos, der darauf die Stadt Herakleia gründete. (de)
