Robert Feke (c. 1705 or 1707 – c. 1752) was an American portrait painter born in Oyster Bay, Long Island, New York. According to art historian Richard Saunders, "Feke’s impact on the development of Colonial painting was substantial, and his pictures set a new standard by which the work of the next generation of aspiring Colonial artists was judged." In total, about 60 paintings by Feke survive, twelve of which are signed and dated.

On sait peu de choses sur sa vie avant 1741, année de son premier portrait intitulé Family of Isaac Royall. On connaît 16 portraits de Feke et 50 lui sont attribués de façon incertaine. Ses œuvres sont connues pour leur sobriété, leur uniformité, leurs riches couleurs. Feke travailla à Boston dont il peignit les marchands et les propriétaires entre 1741 et 1750, date de sa disparition. Il fut influencé par le peintre britannique John Wollaston. (fr)
