Um El Faroud was a 5,390 DWT Libyan-owned single screw motor tanker. Following a gas explosion during maintenance work on 3 February 1995, she was scuttled off the coast of Malta as an artificial reef and diving attraction.
L'Um El Faroud était un pétrolier de 10 000 tonnes. À la suite de l'explosion d'un réservoir lors de travaux d'entretien en 1995, il fut sabordé au large des côtes de Malte pour servir de récif artificiel. C'est aujourd'hui l'un des sites de plongée les plus populaires de l'île. (fr)

Um El Faroud - były libijski tankowiec. Miał 115 metrów długości i wyporność 10 000 ton. W 1995 roku w trakcie prac remontowych w stoczni na Malcie został uszkodzony w wyniku wybuchu gazu. W 1998 roku został zatopiony na Morzu Śródziemnym u wybrzeży Malty jako sztuczna rafa. Statek jest obecnie jedną z atrakcji nurkowych na Malcie. (pl)
