| - Afghans in Pakistan (Urdu: افغان مهاجرين, Afghān muhājirīn, lit. 'Afghan migrants') are temporary residents from Afghanistan who are registered in Pakistan as refugees and asylum seekers. They fall under the jurisdiction of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Most of them were born and raised in Pakistan during the last four decades. Additionally, there are also Special Immigrant Visa applicants awaiting to immmigrate to the United States. Many Afghans in Pakistan receive financial support from family members in the Afghan diaspora. (en)
- Afganos en Pakistán (en urdu, پاکستان میں افغان), constituyen principalmente refugiados que han huido de las sucesivas guerras en Afganistán, pero también hay un pequeño número de solicitantes de asilo, trabajadores migrantes, comerciantes, empresarios, estudiantes de intercambio y diplomáticos. La mayoría nació y se crio en Pakistán y tiene menos de 30 años, pero aún está considerados ciudadanos de Afganistán. Están bajo la protección del Alto Comisionado de las Naciones Unidas para los Refugiados (ACNUR), y se les ha otorgado estatus legal en Pakistán hasta finales de 2017. (es)
