Anne-César de La Luzerne (15 July 1741 – 14 September 1791) was an 18th-century French soldier and diplomat who had an influential role to the Continental Congress and new government of the United States of America after it gained independence from Great Britain. Descended from an illustrious Normandy family, as a Knight of Malta and the Order of Saint Louis he was styled Chevalier before King Louis XVI created him a Marquis in 1785.

Il est le second ambassadeur de France auprès des États-Unis, de 1779 à 1784 et succéda à Conrad Alexandre Gérard qui fut le premier ambassadeur de France en 1778 et 1779 près le gouvernement des Etats-Unis, qui avait déclaré l'indépendance de ce pays le 4 juillet 1776, au nom des 13 colonies qui alors s'émancipaient du joug de la couronne du roi de Grande Bretagne et d'Irlande du Nord.
