The school operates a sixth form on the site of the high school. This caters for post-16 students, including offering a range of vocational and academic qualification. The school also operated North Suffolk Skills Academy in Halesworth, 9 miles (14 km) south of Bungay. This closed in August 2017 due to the lack of funding. In 2021, the school was awarded an Ofsted inspection rating of "good". (en)
