Baħrija is a village in Rabat, Malta, with a low population density. The name Baħrija means moth in Maltese. It is also known in English as Baħria, of which the Counts Moscati had owned the fiefdom that was granted by the Grand Master of Malta.

Le site de Baħrija se trouve sur le promontoire de Qlejgħa, entre le wied (rivière en maltais) de Baħrija et la côte ouest de Malte. c’est le seul site connu des derniers arrivants venant de Calabre avant les phéniciens. Les archéologues y ont discerné les murs de fondation d’une vaste construction en forme d’esplanade avec des salles ordonnées autour d’une cour centrale. (fr)
