Cadfan was succeeded as king by his son, Cadwallon ap Cadfan.

  • Ba Rí Gwynedd é Cadfan ap Iago (c. 580 – c. 625) (lean a réimeas ó c. 616 go dtí c. 625). Is beag an méid atá ar eolas againn ar stair Ghwynedd ón tréimhse seo, agus níl mórán eolais againn faoi Chadfan agus a réimeas. Faightear cibé eolas atá againn mar gheall ar an duine stairiúil ó a láithreas sna ginealaigh ríoga, as a bhronnadh do Naomh Beuno le haghaidh mainistreach ag Clynnog Fawr, agus as a leac uaighe inscríofa. Ba mhac agus chomharba an Rí é Cadfan, agus tá sé liostaithe sna agus i nginealaigh Choláiste Íosa , MS. 20. (ga)

(fr)
